Yet another life adventure . . . oh man!

Okay so I went skiing. I know, I can hear you guys laughing already. Well, I was fine on the bunny hill, but then my friends wanted me to go on the next hill up. They are all really good and thought they could teach me. Little did they know, I am with out a doubt the worst with things like this. Kind of like at the family reunion that time we all went horse back riding, ha ha good joke! Any way, I actually made it on and off the ski lift alright, but then the drama happened. They didn't teach me how to do the back and forth thing yet, only the pizza. So here I am, a girl with no leg strength trying to turn myself on a pretty steep hill. Can anyone say Disaster! Well I started to go really really fast and wasn't strong enough to slow down or stop. So I made myself fall on purpose and ended up upside down with my skis going crazy directions. My friends came to see if I was okay, and to laugh at me. Of course. The medics yelled from down the mountain because they probably heard my horrified scream. We assured them I was okay and then this really attractive snow boarder came and asked if I was okay because I didn't look very comfortable, you think!? Any way it took my friend about 20 minutes to convince me to put my skis back on and then I was too scared to go so she held on to me and skied me down pretty much, until I made us wipe out. She new how to fall gracefully, but I just skidded on my butt for like 20 feet. Yes, it does hurt to sit. So then I walked my skis the rest of the way :) Then my friend Josh was nice enough to go to the lodge with me to make sure I was okay, and sat with me so I wouldn't have to sit by myself. My friend Kelli was supportive and kept telling me how good I did. Through her laughter ha ha and my friend Walker was great too. Very encouraging. Lindsay was the best though, stickin it out with me even when I had my anxiety attack on the hill. (Literally my throat was closing up and everything) It was a good experience though and I am glad I did it. Even if I was so sore this morning I could hardly brush my hair!
